Question? Although installation of the e-Parcel client certificate completed, the warning dialog "Client Certificate Not Found. Export flag of this certificate may not be enabled." has appeared when auto-setup on the client software.

Answer You may not place a check in the box "Mark this key as exportable. This will allow you..." in the procedure of installation of client digital certificate on Windows (IE).

If do not, at first remove an existing client digital certificate from Windows (IE) and then re-install (import) a client digital certificate on Windows (IE) appropriately with carefully reading the instruction provided.

Place a check in the box "Mark this key as exportable..." !

1 Remove a client digital certificate from Windows (IE)
  1. 1. Launch Internet Explorer (IE). On the menu bar, select the "Tools" > "Internet Options".

  2. 2. The "Internet Options" dialog box opens. Select the "Content" tab, see the Certificates category and then click the "Certificates" button.

  3. 3. The "Certificates" dialog box opens. Select the "Personal" tab and find out your client digital certificate listed.

          The "Issued To" field: Your e-Parcel ID

          The "Issued By" field: e-Parcel Global Service Authority

  4. 4. When you make sure to select your client digital certificate, click the "Remove" button to execute.

2 Re-install a client digital certificate on Windows (IE)
  1. Next, download and install (import) a client digital certificate on Windows (IE) again.

  1. 1. Access your web browser; Windows Internet Explorer (IE). Visit the URL for the "e-Parcel software download site".

          URL (This web site):https://www.e-parcel.ne.jp/

  2. 2. Click the menu "e-Parcel Enterprise Service Menu". See the page appeared and then click the "Download Client Certificate" button.

  3. 3. The [STEP1. Login] page: Enter your e-Parcel ID and password and then click the "Login" button.

  4. 4. The [STEP2. Confirm your e-Parcel client software] Page: Select the appropriate e-Parcel software.

  5. 5. The [STEP3. Check the security of web site …] page: Confirm the security of web site which you are accessing now and then click the "Next" button.

  6. 6. The [STEP4. Download and install client digital certificate] Page: Click the "Download" button to open.

  7. 7. Carefully read the STEP4. "Instruction for installing Client Digital Certificate" on the web site and then execute to install (import) it on Windows (IE).

    * Attention: While the "Certificate Import Wizard", when it requires the password (the figure above), be sure to place a check in the "Mark this key as exportable ..." checkbox.
    (If do not, you will fail in auto-setup on the e-Parcel software at later STEP6.)

  9. 9. The [STEP6. Auto-setup e-Parcel client software] Page: Proceed to auto-setup the e-Parcel client software after certificate installation completed on Windows (IE).

    [For users of VCN-CommCenter 7.0] Double-click the "e-Parcel 7.0" shortcut icon on your desktop.

    (If auto-setup doesn't start, access the VCN-CommCenter menu bar "Tools" > "Auto Setup". )

    [For users of VCN-AX 4.0 / 4.5] Right-click the e-Parcel notification area icon on the taskbar to open the pop-up menu. Select the "Automatic Setup" menu.

    * For Windows: If the e-Parcel notification area icon will not be shown on the Windows taskbar, click the arrow next to the notification area on the taskbar. (Or, access the Windows Start menu > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > "Customize icons on the taskbar") In the pane "Notifications Area Icons" of Windows taskbar, select the "VCN-AX Manager [e-Parcel VCN-AX]" from the list and then change this setting to the "Show icon and notifications".

    * For Windows 10: If the e-Parcel notification area icon will not be shown on the Windows taskbar, right-click on the taskbar then select the "Taskbar settings" from the menus appeared. (Or, access the Windows Start menu > Windows System > Control Panel > Taskbar and Navigation) In the pane "Taskbar", locate the "Notifications Area", click on the "Select which icons appear on the taskbar". The "VCN-AX Manager [e-Parcel VCN-AX]" will be listed. Change this setting to "On"

  10. 10. Once auto-setup is done, the e-Parcel client software will get started.

  11. When the status is "Online" on the e-Parcel client software, you complete successfully.
