Question? Can a sender track the sending items to confirm the delivery status of recipients?

Answer Yes, a sender can get the tracking information in outbox of the client software GUI.

* Refer to the section "Outbox - Tracking Display" of the e-Parcel VCN-CommCenter 7.0 Users manual.

* Refer to the section "The Outbox window" of the e-Parcel VCN-AX 4.0 / 4.5 Quick Guide.

Usually, the delivery status of the sending items is updated automatically at regular intervals while the client software is running and online. (Initial value: auto polling intervals: 5 minutes)

Or the "Reload" button of the client software also provides for real time tracking of the sending items.

Procedure Check the current status! 
  1. When a sender confirm the current status on the sending items of Outbox,

    * [For users of VCN-CommCenter 7.0] If the VCN-CommCenter 7.0 is not running, double-click the shortcut icon "e-Parcel 7.0" on the desktop to run. The VCN-CommCenter GUI will open.

    * [For users of VCN-AX 4.5/4.0] If the VCN-AX 4.5/4.0 management console is not opened, double-click the shortcut icon "VCN-AX 4.5/4.0" on the desktop. (Or, right-click the notification area icon "e-Parcel VCN-AX 4.5/4.0" on the taskbar and then select the "Open" from the pop-up menu.) The Management Console window will open through the default web browser application.

    Attention: To open the VCN-AX Management Console must require starting the service "e-Parcel VCN-AX".

  2. 1. The sending items are listed up in outbox of the client software.

  3. 2. You can view the current status of the sending items in the "Status" field of outbox.

  1. View your Outbox on the VCN-CommCenter GUI.

The current delivery statuses of sending items are shown in the "Status" field of Outbox on the VCN-CommCenter GUI.

Procedure Check the progress status of recipients side! (Tracking!) 
  1. To show the progress status of recipients side (Tracking), double-click an item on Outbox. The followings briefly explain the each progress status of Outbox for sender.

    * [For users of VCN-CommCenter 7.0] If the VCN-CommCenter 7.0 is not running, double-click the shortcut icon "e-Parcel 7.0" on the desktop to run. The VCN-CommCenter GUI will open.

    * [For users of VCN-AX 4.5/4.0] If the VCN-AX 4.5/4.0 management console is not opened, double-click the shortcut icon "VCN-AX 4.5/4.0" on the desktop. (Or, right-click the notification area icon "e-Parcel VCN-AX 4.5/4.0" on the taskbar and then select the "Open" from the pop-up menu.) The Management Console window will open through the default web browser application.

    Attention: To open the VCN-AX Management Console must require starting the service "e-Parcel VCN-AX".

  2. 1. Select an item of outbox which you want to track, and then double-click it.

  3. 2. On the VCN-CommCenter 7.0 GUI, the send "Parcel Detail" dialog opens. The tracking information can be found on the upper-right of the dialog. That lists the "Time Stamp" and the progress "Status" of recipients.

    * Note: The status "Create New" only has been displayed until a recipient is notified to download an item.

    On the VCN-AX 4.5/4.0 management console, the "Outbox Item" window opens. The tracking information can be found on the "Recipients" field. When the status field will get in blue, click it to view the time stamp and the progress status of recipients.

    * Note: The status "Waiting Request" only has been displayed until a recipient is notified to download an item.

  1. View your Outbox on the VCN-CommCenter GUI.

The tracking information can be found on the event view of the "Parcel Detail" dialog of Outbox on the VCN-CommCenter GUI.

  2. The followings briefly explain the each Recipients "Status" on Outbox for sender. (Tracking)

    [For users of VCN-CommCenter 7.0] : On the send "Parcel Detail" dialog, the "Status" field shows the tracking information.

    [For users of VCN-AX 4.5/4.0] : On the "Outbox Item" window, click the "Recipients" field to show the tracking information.

    The Status field will be updated to the latest delivery status progressively.

     [Create New]: Sender starts the sending processes for a new item. (Created Date)

      Note: VCN-CommCenter 7.0: The "Create New" only has been displayed until a recipient's software is ready to download an item.

      Note: VCN-AX 4.5/4.0: The "Waiting Request" only has been displayed until a recipient's software is ready to download an item.

    The followings are shown as the download status of recipient side.

     [Waiting download (Ready To Download)]: Recipient's software is notified a new item and then ready to download.

     [Download Start (Downloading xx%)]: Recipient's software starts to download an item. → Recipient's software is downloading.

     [Download Complete]: Recipient's software just finishes downloading an item. → Delivery verifying (Decrypting and Extracting)

     * [Delivery Confirmed]: Recipient's software has confirmed to download an item after integrity verified. (Downloading processes done)

     * [Item Opened]: Recipient opened an item of inbox. (To open a "Parcel Detail" dialog)

     * [Item Moved]: Recipient has completed to move the attached files/folders.

    The status with *(blue asterisk) above will be replaced with the latest delivery status.
