Question? It happened that your access to the URL of e-Parcel Secure Enterprise - Web Browser (https://secure.e-parcel.ne.jp/) is denied in spite of certificate installation completed.

Answer Your client digital certificate may not have been installed appropriately. Firstly, ensure that your client digital certificate was correctly installed as the diagram below indicates.

If your instillation was failed, you must need to download and install a client digital certificate again.

To download it, click the e-Parcel Enterprise Service Menu, click the "Download Client Certificate" button and then review the details provided in this web site.

* If your e-Parcel client digital certificate is correctly installed and then it still doesn't work, additionally confirm that your proxy server information is correctly configured on your web browser as needed. Also check your computer or network environment that may have any access control. For more details, see the lower contents of this page.

Check your installing status of the client digital certificate !!

Procedure If your certificate installation is correct according to the above check
  1. * When your access through browser is still denied in spite of the correct certification path as the diagram above,

  2. additionally confirm the following some points that happen often.

    1. Web browser must be required to support TLS 1.0 or later. Confirm the Internet settings of your browser (IE).

    * On the Internet Explorer, access the menu Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab >  Settings. See the settings listed for the Internet. In the "Security" category, please be sure that "Use TLS 1.0", "Use TLS 1.1" and "Use TLS 1.2" must be checked. (If "Use SSL 2.0" and "Use SSL 3.0" have been checked, delete a check each.) Takes effect after you restart your computer.

For your information: Other way (not use IE) to open the "Internet Options (Internet Properties)" dialog:
Access the Windows Start menu > Windows System > Control Panel > Network and Internet > "Internet Options".

    2. Your computer or network environment may have any access control such as block HTTPS request [Port=443] to our e-Parcel service domain as of [https://*.e-parcel.ne.jp] and [https://*.e-parcel.com] (The asterisk mark [*] will be replaced with the multiple e-Parcel servers names during the e-Parcel service communications.). Confirm your computer or network environment including the settings of your proxy server or any applications for security measures to change settings.

    * On the Internet Explorer, access the menu Tools > Internet Options > Security tab, then click "Trusted sites". Click the "Sites" button. The "Trusted sites" dialog opens. Enter [https://*.e-parcel.ne.jp] in the field "Add this Web site to the zone.", and then click the "Add" button. After you confirm that the correct URL added is listed in the field "Web sites", click the "Close" button. To close the "Internet Options" window, click the "OK" button. (You may also need to add one more web site [https://*.e-parcel.com])

    * If your computer or network environment is not clear, would you please consult your network administrator to change settings?

    3. If web browser is set a proxy server, confirm that your proxy server information is correctly configured on your browser (IE).

    * On the Internet Explorer, access the menu Tools > Internet Options > Connections tab > LAN settings button. The Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog opens. Confirm your proxy server settings.

    * If web browser is set a proxy server that requires user authentication, the "Proxy Authentication Required" dialog must appear. Input your proxy user name and password to authenticate.

    * If you are not sure of the correct proxy server information, ask your network administrator to obtain the correct information.

    4. If you read this page while you are on the way to procedures STEP 5 for download & install of this site:

It seems that your certificate installation is correctly completed. For the present, proceed to the next STEP 6.

    * However, on the STEP 6, if web browser has been set a proxy server, it must be required that the correct proxy server information has been configured on your browser (IE). The wrong proxy server settings of web browser cause the client software to be offline after auto-setup. Because the "Auto Setup" function of e-Parcel client software will automatically configure itself to detect your certificate and network settings from Windows (IE). If you are not sure of the proxy server information, obtain the correct information to ask your network administrator.

    * If your network is set the proxy server that requires user authentication, the "Proxy Authentication Required" dialog will appear. Input your proxy user name and password and then click the "OK" button to authenticate. If you forget your proxy user name and password to authenticate, contact your company's network administrator to obtain the correct information.

    * Additionally, if using NTLM proxy-authorization,
[For users of VCN-CommCenter 7.0 or later] set blank in the "Proxy Authentication Required" dialog. (Therefore the client software provides the function to automatically detect Windows logon user account name and password for NTLM proxy authentication if it is not given any authentication info. However, even in blank, depending on your software version or environment, the "Proxy Authentication Required" dialog or the message "Proxy Authentication Failed / Proxy Authentication Rejected" might appear. In this case, a "Windows logon user account name@domain" as a user name and password must be required to input.)
[For users of VCN-AX 4.0 or later] Input a "Windows logon user account name@domain" as a user name and password in the fields of authentication information (User name, Password).

    * Also, on the STEP 6, if your computer or network environment have been set any access control such as block HTTPS request [Port=443] to our e-Parcel service domain as of [https://*.e-parcel.ne.jp] and [https://*.e-parcel.com] (The asterisk mark [*] will be replaced with the multiple e-Parcel servers names during the e-Parcel service communications.), those cause the client software to be offline after auto-setup. When happened, confirm your computer or network environment including the settings of your proxy server or any applications for security measures. If your computer or network environment is not clear, would you please consult your network administrator to modify the system settings?
