Question? How can I edit my e-Parcel ID which is currently used through the e-Parcel service?

Answer Upon your request, we usually edit the existing e-Parcel ID registered. After that, you will be required to exchange your e-Parcel client digital certificate imported in OS or browser.

In the case of editing the existing e-Parcel ID, it can recover the existing inbox/outbox histories. The following steps will guide you.

* In the case of registering another new e-Parcel ID and exchanging ID for new one, it cannot recover the existing inbox/outbox histories. The following steps also will guide you.

* Usually, we register your e-mail address as an e-Parcel ID for using the e-Parcel secure data delivery service. In addition, the e-Parcel ID works only through the e-Parcel service. The e-Parcel ID is not compatible with any e-mail applications. However, if your e-mail address is changed, it must affect the e-Parcel Web Browser (e-Parcel VCN-Web) such as the e-mail notification upon the transmissions or the online password request. So, please be aware that you are required to request of a system administrator in your company or the e-Parcel Customer Support by e-mail (support@e-parcel.co.jp) to edit the existing e-Parcel ID registered.

1 Inquiry about the existing e-Parcel ID
  1. Upon your request, we usually edit the existing e-Parcel ID registered.

    * If you want to register another new e-Parcel ID and exchange ID for new one, we also register new e-Parcel ID.

  2. * Attention: Please be advised that you should start the following procedures after uploading and downloading data have been confirmed on the e-Parcel Web Browser (e-Parcel VCN-Web).

    * Attention: In the case of editing the existing e-Parcel ID, please note that sending and receiving data through the e-Parcel service is temporally suspended for the operational reason of ID edited until you complete to install new certificate.

  3. 1. Contact the e-Parcel Customer Support by e-mail with both your previous e-Parcel ID and new e-Parcel ID specified.

    * We are afraid that the e-Parcel Customer Support will reply to you by e-mail in our business hours (Mon - Fri 9:00 - 17:00JST).

    * Depending on the contract, some customers may need to request of a system administrator in a company in advance.

  4. 2. When registration completed, you will get the notification by e-mail.

    Proceed to the next procedures below. You are required to exchange your e-Parcel client digital certificate imported in OS or browser.

2 Remove the previous client digital certificate
  1. First, on your computer, remove the previous client digital certificate installed (imported) in OS (Microsoft Windows) or browser application (Mozilla Firefox). Take either of the procedures below.

  2. [For Microsoft Edge]

    * For Microsoft Edge or other browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer · Google Chrome), select this procedure to remove the digital certificates from OS (Windows).

    1. To remove a certificate using the Windows interface, select the Windows "Start" menu > Windows System >
    Control Panel > Network and Internet > "Internet Options".

    The "Internet Properties (Internet Options)" dialog opens. Select the "Content" tab and then click the "Certificates" button in the Certificates category.

    Launch Microsoft Edge. On the upper-right of Toolbar, click […] (Settings and more) > Settings (gear mark) > Privacy, search, services > Security > Manage certificates

  3. 2. The "Certificates" dialog is opened. Select the "Personal" tab and find out the previous certificate listed.

    ·The "Issued To" column: Your previous e-Parcel ID

    ·The "Issued By" column: e-Parcel Global Service Authority

  4. 3. When selected carefully, click the "Remove" button. If the "Certificates" dialog shows warning, choose "Yes" to execute.

  5. 4. To close the Windows interface, click the "Close" button on the "Certificates" dialog and click the "OK" button on the "Internet Properties (Internet Options)" dialog.

  6. [For Mozilla Firefox (Fx)]

    1. Launch Mozilla Firefox (Fx). On the upper-right of Toolbar, click "Open application menu" > "Settings".

    Or, on Mozilla Firefox (Fx) menu bar, select "Tools" > "Settings".

    The "Settings" tab is opened. Click the "Privacy & Security". In the "Security" > "Certificates" category, click the "View Certificates" button.

  7. 2. The "Certificate Manager" dialog opens. Select the "Your Certificates" tab and find out the previous certificate listed.

  8. 3. When selected carefully, click the "Delete" button. If the "Delete your Certificates" dialog shows warning, choose "OK" to execute.

  9. 4. To close the window, click the "OK" button on the "Certificate Manager" dialog and click the "x" mark on the "Settings" tab.

3 Install new client digital certificate
  1. Next, download and install (import) your new client digital certificate in OS (Microsoft Windows) or browser application (Mozilla Firefox).

  2. 1. Click the button just below to start the procedures.

    * The detailed instructions of each step will be shown in figures at the "Download Client Certificates" page of this site.

    * When installing (importing) the digital certificate in Windows, you must sign in Windows with a user account which uses the e-Parcel Web Browser.

  3. 2. The [STEP1. Login] page: Type your e-Parcel ID and password, and then click the "Login" button.

  4. 3. The [STEP2. Select browser] Page: Select either of the browser applications.

  5. 4. The [STEP3. Check the security of this site …] page: When you confirm the security of this site which is being visited, click the "Next" button.

  6. 5. The [STEP4. Download and install a client digital certificate] Page: Click the "Download" button and then follow the instruction on the site.

    On the STEP4, to import the digital certificate, carefully read the "Instruction for installing Client Digital Certificate" in figures.

  7. 6. The [STEP5. Access the URL of e-Parcel Secure Enterprise - Web Browser] Page: Click the "e-Parcel Web Browser" red button. When new window is opened successfully, click the "Access Completed" button.

  8. 7. The [STEP6. Procedure Complete] Page: Logout.

  9. All procedures are completed. The e-Parcel Web Browser (e-Parcel VCN-Web) is ready for use with new e-Parcel ID.
