Sending the e-mail notifications failed when items sent and received via the e-Parcel client software despite configuring the "e-Mail Notification" function.

 Please confirm the following points that happen often. Your SMTP server may restrict domains of the notifier e-mail address not to allow for security.

Usually, each time new items are sent and/or received, a sender's e-Parcel ID of items will be automatically applied as a notifier e-mail address in the e-Mail Notification by default.

First, would you please consult your network administrator. If your SMTP server restricts domains of the notifier e-mail address, it is recommended that you assign the allowed sender's e-mail address to the notifier e-mail address in the "Notifier Name" fields additionally. For more details about the additional setting, the followings will guide you.

[How to fix the notifier e-mail address in the e-Mail Notification]

* Without the setting below (by default), a sender's e-Parcel ID of items is applied automatically each time the item sent/received.

[For VCN-CommCenter 8.0]

①Open the VCN-CommCenter GUI, select the menu "Tools" > "Option" > Option Config "e-Mail Notification" tab.

②Select the checkbox (set checked: on) in the "Send Notification" and the "Receipt Notification".

③Enter a notifier name followed by one <e-mail address> in the "Notifier Name" fields.
(Multiple e-mail addresses: Not available)

④When entered, click "Save" button.

⑤When the Information "Please restart VCN-CommCenter for the changes to take effect." Dialog is shown, click "OK" button.

⑥To exit (shutdown) the client software, select the menu "File" > "Exit" on the VCN-CommCenter GUI.

⑦To restart the client software, double-click the shortcut icon "e-Parcel 8.0" on the desktop. The VCN-CommCenter GUI will be opened.

[For VCN-AX 5.0/4.0]

Note: To open VCN-AX Management Console needs for Windows to start the service "e-Parcel VCN-AX x.x".

①Double-click the shortcut icon "VCN-AX x.x" on the desktop. (Or, on Windows taskbar, in the notification area, right-click the icon "e-Parcel VCN-AX x.x", then select "Open" from pop-up menu.) New window "VCN-AX Management Console" is opened by the default browser application.

②Click the menu "Configuration" > "User Config".

③Enter a notifier name followed by one <e-mail address> in the "HotFolder Notice Name" and the "Automation Notice Name" fields. (Multiple e-mail addresses: Not available)

    [For example of input] e-Parcel receipt e-mail notification<address456@xxxxx.co.jp>

④When entered, click "Apply" button to take effect.

Confirm the e-mail notifications when items sent and received via the e-Parcel client software.
